The name says it all with this FREI.GANG. You hike at a sunny altitude on wide paths around the climatic health resort of Neubulach. Breathtaking views of the Heckengäu and beyond to the Swabian Alb as well as the dense sea of forests around Kniebis and Hornisgrinde open up time and again.

The FREI.GANG leads across sunny fields and orchards through the two districts of Oberhaugstett and Altbulach, where you can stop for a break. In Altbulach, you can immerse yourself in the world of the famous sculptor Albert Volz and visit his studio with sculptures made of stone, wood and clay by appointment. Back in Neubulach, we recommend that you plan some time for a tour of the medieval mining town. In the middle of the old town with its numerous half-timbered houses, the Bergvogtei, the Diebsturm, the Calwer Tor and the historic town wall are waiting to be explored. The good and varied selection of restaurants in Neubulach invites you to stop for a bite to eat after the FREI.GANG.
