Naturpark-AugenBlick-Runde Calw-Holzbronn

!!! As there are very few parking spaces available in Holzbronn, please head for the hiking parking lots around Holzbronn!!!

On weekends, you can also use the additional designated parking lot for hikers at the Homag company in Holzbronn.

The scenic circular tour leads from Holzbronn across open meadows and shady forest paths, past the Waldeck ruins through parts of the exciting Xanderklinge gorge (the complete Xanderklinge itself is not part of the Naturpark-Augenblick-Runde, as a protected biotope and high risk of accidents!!!! especially due to falling rocks, stones, trees, dead wood and flooding during and after heavy rainfall).

This quote describes particularly well what awaits you at the Naturpark-AugenBlick in Holzbronn and all the others: a breathtaking and all-round beautiful view. These special vantage points invite you to discover the landscape with a bench, table and labeled panorama board. The AugenBlicke are designed in the style of the nature park logo - the striking nature park eye - and are also the starting point for a circular route, the AugenBlick-Runde. Let your gaze wander and discover the varied natural and cultural landscape of the nature park!

The spectacular circular hike first takes you along wide paths and meadows to the nature park's AugenBlick high above the Nagoldtal valley. It then descends back down into the valley along steep and adventurous paths. Passing the ruins of Waldeck Castle, the trail leads along the course of the river to the Talmühle inn. The trail then runs a short distance through the fascinating Xanderklinge gorge (be sure to watch out for the exit!!!). The trail climbs uphill for a few meters before it leads out of the forest to Holzbronn and back to the starting point.
