The circular hike takes us through beautiful mixed forest and along red sandstone cliffs to the Waldeck ruins and the largest wooden, top-geared mill wheel in Europe.leaving Calw-Stammheim, the Gäurandweg trail offers wonderful views. The route then leads through beautiful mixed forest into the Nagoldtal valley and uphill to the Waldeck ruins, where there is a cozy barbecue area for a rest. The route leads downhill along imposing red sandstone cliffs and along the Nagold to the Schlittenbachbrückle bridge, not far from where you will find Europe's largest wooden, overshot mill wheel. You return to the starting point via the Himmelsleiter and through wide fields.
