Traumschleife Zwei-Täler-Weg

On the way along narrow paths through the Black Forest high forest, you will find interesting rock formations such as the "Hohe Fels", the "Iltisfels", the "Teufelsfels" and the "Eulenfels". Along the way, you will also pass a Marian grotto and a deer enclosure.

At the Wildlife and Hiking Park parking lot outside Weiskirchen is the entrance portal to the trail, made of thick tree trunks. Behind the Petri Hütte with barbecue area and fishing pond in Rappweiler-Zwalbach, the trail runs along the "barefoot path".Behind the "Alte Backstube" bakery in Waldhölzbach, the path climbs steeply uphill in the forest to the Teufelsfelsen rock, a bizarre rock formation that offers unexpected views.

From the Devil's Rock, the trail leads into the Hölzbach valley. You cross the stream via stepping stones that seem to have been thrown into the Hölzbach stream.

The Hölzbach valley is left via a longer uphill section. It ends at the wildlife and hiking park, which you walk around. In the extensive terrain on the ridge between the Hölzbachtal valley and the Holzbachtal valley, mighty bison lie well camouflaged in the undergrowth.

Along the Saarland-Rhineland-Palatinate border, the trail descends to the next stream valley.

There are still quite a few meters of altitude to climb to the starting point of the tour.The trail has been rated by the German Hiking Institute with 72 experience points.
