Tour 1 (85 kilometers, 1,000 vertical meters, max. 14 % gradient)

Saar loop

Although the route almost always runs along the Saar, the climbs up the hills along the river add up to quite a few meters in altitude. The path up to Orscholz is particularly long, but well worth it - as is the short detour to the viewpoint above the Saar Loop. The way back is mostly along the Saar cycle path, although roads with a little more traffic are unavoidable in some places.
