The family-friendly, completely flat tour leads along the banks of the Saar from Sarreguemines in France to Konz, where the Saar and Moselle meet.
The city of Saarbrücken with its baroque buildings, the UNESCO World Heritage Site Völklinger Hütte, the fortified town of Saarlouis, the town of Merzig with the Wolfspark, the Saarschleife, the lifestyle provider Villeroy & Boch and the picturesque town of Saarburg are particularly worth seeing.
Due to extensive renovation work, there will be disruptions between Merzig and Taben-Rodt. Detour are signposted.
