Bostalsee-Runde

Explore the largest recreational lake in south-west Germany by bike.

Easy to moderately easy half-day tour, which can be extended to a day trip thanks to numerous particularly attractive rest stops.

Tour route: Bostalsee - Neunkirchen/Nahe - Selbach - Hofgut Imbsbach - Johann-Adams-Mühle - Theley - Tholey - Oberthal - Nohmühle - Elzenberger Mühle - Bostalsee

Follow the Saar-Bostalsee cycle route with the purple Saarland logo towards Neunkirchen/Nahe. From Theley, follow the signs for the Schaumberg cycle path until shortly before Tholey. Do not take the turn-off to the Schaumberg adventure pool, but continue straight on for a short time without cycle path signs until you reach the access road to the Wendelinus cycle path on the left. Follow this to Oberthal. There, change to the Saar-Nahe-Höhen cycle path with the orange logo, which leads back to Bostalsee.
