Since June 2015, an informative adventure trail has been awaiting hikers in the Blieskastel spa forest who are keen to learn. At 12 stations, those interested can playfully explore the ecological impact of their lifestyle.You accompany Paul, a true Bliesgauer: together with his family, he lives in a house in the Saarland. He prefers to wear jeans and a T-shirt rather than a suit. In the evenings, Paul likes to chat with the neighbors or watch TV. He works in a modern office, to which he drives 6 km every day in his own car. He loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking in his free time. He shops several times a week - mostly at discount stores, but sometimes also at the store around the corner. Paul is very interested in environmental issues and wants to do little harm to nature through his life - without completely sacrificing enjoyment.In the course of the themed trail, Paul explores the concept of the ecological rucksack and takes a closer look for a day: he wants to find out how his everyday life affects the environment - i.e. how "big" the rucksack is that he carries with him throughout the year - and how he can reduce the weight of his rucksack.
