On a forest trail of 4.2 km, you will find three hammock dangling stations where you can attach the hammocks and enjoy nature and its sounds. Start at the Mediclin Blieskastel parking lot with the "Ecological Backpack" signposts.
How it works:
The hammocks can be hired from the Blieskastel Tourist Information Office and Saarpfalz-Touristik for a deposit of 20 euros per hammock. The rental points will explain the hammock and how to hang it up, give you a tour suggestion and show you the locations of the tried and tested "dangling stations". The hammock is rolled up in a small banana-shaped carrying bag and weighs 500 grams. Not much for an open-air bed that can carry up to 180 kilograms. Parachute silk, ropes and snap hooks are quickly unpacked. The suspension is really simple: the ropes are already provided with several knots into which the metal hooks of the hammock are hooked after looping around a tree trunk. Just pull tight and the oasis of well-being is ready to relax in.
