Radwandern entlang der Blies - Von der Quelle bis zur Mündung

Alongside the Saar, Prims and Nahe, the Blies is one of the most important rivers in Saarland. The Blies is the longest tributary of the Saar and has its source in northern Saarland near Selbach, not far from the source of the Nahe. On the approx. 105 km long "Blies Cycle Route" you can cycle from Bostalsee in the Sankt Wendel region via Neunkirchen and Blieskastel across the French border to Sarreguemines. On this tour, cyclists can explore beautiful sections of landscape and cultural and historical sites in the Blies Valley, and the interesting route from St. Wendel via Neunkirchen, Homburg and Blieskastel in the Bliesgau biosphere to Sarreguemines is characteristic of this route. At the start of the tour, there are a few climbs to contend with. The rest of the route is very easy and mostly flat. Please note that you should follow various signposts on this suggested tour and therefore read the route description carefully.
