Der Jägersburger

A leisurely and natural tour of approx. 9 km along the Brückweiher and the Möhlwoog in the Jägersburger Weiher recreation area. Here, the experience value is particularly important. In addition to families, recreation-seeking and inexperienced hikers can also enjoy an eventful and forest-rich day here.

The Jägersburger is a circular hiking trail that leads along varied paths, through shady forest areas and open landscapes that appear again and again. The two idyllically situated ponds - the Möhlwoog and the Brückweiher - and some wonderful viewpoints are the hallmarks of this tour. The alternation of shady forest and idyllic, natural ponds is an experience every time. In spring, water crowfoot, iris and water lilies can be seen here, with grass frogs, water frogs and numerous dragonflies hiding among the floating leaves! For hikers interested in cultural history, a detour to the nearby Gustavsburg castle on the castle pond is recommended. The Blockhaus, which is located directly on the route, as well as PETERS Biergarten and Pizzeria Il Lago, which are in the immediate vicinity, are ideal places to stop for a bite to eat. In addition to nature, the adventure stations on the edge of the hiking trail are of course major highlights. The Fun Forest adventure park, pedal boat hire and the play and picnic area by the Brückweiher pond invite you to linger a little longer.
