Kraichgau-Stromberg: 3-Bäche-Tour

This cycle tour takes you through nature reserves and floodplain landscapes with views of vineyards along streams that meander through the edge of the Upper Rhine Graben and through the Kraichgau region.

The 3 Streams Tour takes you through the idyllic landscape between Ubstadt and Menzingen. On the circular tour, you will be accompanied by the three streams Kraichbach, Dorfbach and Katzbach.

The loop starts in Ubstadt, just six minutes by train from Bruchsal. Depending on how you get there, you can also start the loop there and then head to Unterwörisheim via Rohrbacher Hof.

From Ubstadt, you always cycle slightly uphill via Gochsheim to Menzingen. There is hardly any traffic on the small side roads, so you can enjoy nature to the full. In Menzingen, you cycle past the ruins of the moated castle. Shortly afterwards, there is a small climb and a rapid descent on beautiful paths, partly through the forest.

Now you have reached the Katzbach stream and cycle a little way along a former railroad line. At Stettfeld, you reach the Kraichbach again and follow it through an enchanting natural landscape until you arrive back at your starting point in Ubstadt.
