Enjoyable hike through the Bodesee region from Lippertsreute via Andelshofen to Überlingen.

The Überlingen suburb of Lippertsreute is located in the middle of the beautiful Linzgau cultural landscape around 9 kilometers from Überlingen city centre.

With two traditional country inns that spoil guests with regional and seasonal cuisine, there are plenty of places to stop for refreshments at the start of the hike.

Lippertsreute is surrounded by large orchards where pears, plums, cherries and other types of fruit are grown alongside the popular Lake Constance apples. You can fill your hiking rucksack with healthy and delicious provisions at the associated farms.On the way past the suburb of Bambergen, it is worth making a detour to the Georgenhof, a facility for children and young people in need of care. The café by the pond invites you to enjoy a refreshment stop with 100% organic quality.

Before the hike reaches the Überlingen district of Andelshofen, you pass the Reutemühle pet farm, which is particularly popular with families. If you have the opportunity, you should take a break to wander through the lovingly designed grounds before continuing the tour towards Andelshofen.

In Andelshofen, the Romantik Hotel Johanniter-Kreuz awaits tired hikers. Whether on the spacious terrace or in the light-flooded beer garden - here you can feast and enjoy to your heart's content.

A visit to the Überlinger Weltacker in Andelshofen is also worthwhile. The world's most cultivated crops are grown in an open-air exhibition on 2,000 m² of fertile arable land, which in purely mathematical terms would currently be available to everyone.

After a short stretch through the Überlingen industrial estate, the tour leads back into the countryside. Past the forest playground and after crossing under the main road, the route leads into the St. Leonhard landscape park with the park hotel of the same name. The beautiful meadow landscape accompanies the hiker towards the vineyards, which leads directly to the Kress winery, the end point of the stage hike.
