Wasser, Wein und Wiesen - am See entlang zum Schloss Rauenstein

Away from the hustle and bustle to Rauenstein Castle and the St. Leonhard Landscape Park

This tour takes you on an almost 8 km walk from the Überlingen landing site, initially along the lakeshore in an easterly direction to the lido. Pass under the railroad underpass and take the Schilfweg path away from the lake to Nußdorfer Straße. To the right of the Hotel Alpenblick, a stairway leads first and then the Kieblersteige into Rauensteinstraße.

If you now turn left, you will reach the spacious, freely accessible park grounds of Rauenstein Castle. An apple nature trail on the southern slope below the park provides information about the different varieties of the popular Lake Constance fruit.

After a stroll through the park, follow Rauensteinstraße to the east, where there is a publicly accessible barefoot path at the end of the allotment gardens. Here it's time to take off your shoes and feel the different surfaces with your feet!

Directly at the end is the spacious St. Leonhard Landscape Park with a great viewpoint at the junction with Obere St. Leonhard Str.

The path then leads past the fields and meadows of the Negrassus nursery down to Mühlbachstraße. The Kress winery in Überlingen is located there in the middle of the vineyards.

The tour then leads back to Lake Constance via Kurt-Wilde-Str. and past the Überlingen youth hostel. Following the lakeside path to the west, you will reach your starting point at Überlingen Landungsplatz.</p
