Argenbühl - Siggener Rundweg - Nr. 9

An easy and scenic hike with a wonderful view of the Nagelfluh mountain range.

The easy, panoramic circular trail begins with a visit to the parish church of St. Sebastian. Right next to it is the 18th century rectory, which was renovated in 2017. From the village square, we follow the signs and leave the idyllic village of Siggen. Here, the view opens up over the castle pond to the foothills of the Alps. We take a seat on the bench at the Bergmichel viewpoint and enjoy the beautiful view. The field path leads us on both sides of the Neuweiher and Schloßweiher ponds in the direction of Nägele am Wald. Here we turn left into the forest until we reach the Siggener Höhe after a slight ascent. A magnificent view of the Allgäu Alps, the Nagelfluh mountain range and the Bregenz Forest with a panorama board. In the direction of Aufreute, you will see the signpost to Fahles am Weiher. At the castle pond (5.4 hectares of water) you return to the starting point.
