Argenbühl - Vier-Seen-Wanderung - Nr. 1

A panoramic circular hiking trail through the Allgäu Alpine foothills.

The starting point is the parish church of St. Mauritius with its baroque high altar. At the edge of the village, the path leads us to a forest clearing. There, we take the right fork in the direction of Buch and reach the Buchweiher pond and campsite. With its biotope, the pond is subject to nature and landscape protection. After a slight ascent, we look out over the idyllic Siggen and reach the Bergmichel viewpoint. Here we enjoy the view over the castle pond towards the Allgäu Alps. We continue through the Siggener Moos and along the Neuweiher pond through the forest. In Balthases we come to the country road and reach Siggen again with the parish church of St. Sebastian in the middle of this gently undulating landscape. From here, the trail leads through the village back to Christazhofen.</p
