Natur Schön (WE5)

Hike through the beauty and diversity of nature in Weinstadt - true to the Weinstadt slogan "Culture meets nature".

From the starting point at Endersbach train station, the trail first leads through the village. It continues along extensive vineyards past the "Käppele", a medieval pilgrimage church.Through orchards and vineyards, the hiker reaches the picturesque village of Strümpfelbach. The romantic location between vineyards and the unique townscape of centuries-old half-timbered houses in southern Germany make the village something special. Several renowned wine estates are located here. After the old town hall, the path turns right into the street Am Hüttenbach and leads uphill through orchards and vineyards to the "Skulpturenallee Paare" at the NaturFreundehaus. Ten bronze couples from the workshop of Strümpfelbach artist Karl Ulrich Nuss greet hikers at the edge of the forest above Strümpfelbach. From here, there is also an impressive view of the Nuss sculpture trail opposite, the Rems Valley and beyond.

Through the forest, the trail descends again, back to Strümpfelbach and at the end of the village on the opposite side of the slope into the vineyards. The trail leads along the edge of the forest to Karlstein (see WE2 Himmel Hoch) and on to Landgut Burg in Beutelsbach. From the town center, the trail leads through the Mitmach-Park back to the starting point of the tour, Endersbach train station.</p
