WT13 Von Toten und Seherinnen

Beautiful hike past places worth seeing - connected by sunny vineyard & shady forest paths.

From the starting point, head towards the forest cemetery where the seeress of Prevorst is buried. After the view of the Weinsberg valley, the trail leads down into the forest to Lichtenstern with its former monastery.

The simple early Gothic monastery church, the garden chapel and the well-preserved monastery wall can be viewed from the outside during a tour of the grounds.

This is followed by an easy climb through the vineyards up to the "Wochenend & Sonnenschein" viewpoint and on to the Löwenstein Protestant Conference Center.

After a short forest path, it is worth taking a detour to the Eichelberg war memorial with a great view of the valley.

After descending through the vineyards to Reisach, the route follows the "Totenweg" trail across a pasture and through the forest up to Wolfertsberg and along orchards back to Löwenstein.
