WT6 Natur pur rund um Wüstenrot

This tour is just the thing for nature lovers. An enjoyable hike through the forests and fields around Wüstenrot.

The tour starts in the center of Wüstenrot. At the beginning of the hike, there is an opportunity to visit the Bausparmuseum or the Glas- und Heimatmuseum.

Passing Lake Finsterrot, the route continues to Neuhütten. There you climb the Steinknickle. Once at the top, a cozy rest and barbecue area awaits, while children can let off steam in the playground. From the viewing tower, there is a fantastic panoramic view over the entire Weinsberg valley.

The trail leads through an extensive wooded area to Friedrichshof and on past the Hohlenstein to the nature reserve. The trail leads back via the Chausseehaus to Wüstenrot. If the tour is too long for you, you can shorten it as you wish on the designated routes of the Schwäbischer Albverein.
