Description

The castle ruins of Lauenburg are located above Stecklenberg near Thale. It is in the nature of castle complexes that they were mostly built on a mountain. The Lauenburg can also only be reached via a short, but steep ascent. However, the heart rate can calm down again on the forest and forestry paths towards Friedrichsbrunn. There, the descent through the Tiefenbachtal towards Treseburg awaits. Those struggling with their form will find it difficult uphill towards Dambachskopf. But thats about it with steep meters of altitude. The way back to Thale offers another very beautiful descent on a narrow, sometimes slightly rough forest path.
