Hiking between Wolfshagen and the Granetalsperre

Description

Naturally beautiful trail, partly running along the Försterstieg. Halfway with a beautiful view of the Granestausee. Detour to the dam 500 meters and next to it the Harzwasserwerke. There are exhibition rooms with a lot of information about the water distribution around the historic and UNESCO World Heritage-listed Harzer Wasserregal. For groups, guided tours are also available, upon prior registration with the Harz Water Works.

Directions

K35 to the outskirts of Wolfshagen (coming from Langelsheim), turn left onto Kreuzallee street, continue on the road until after the intersection Am Borbergsbach until the end. Large parking lot on the left with hiking information board.
