Hiking trail Hohegeiß-Bechlerstein-Wolfsbachtal-Zorge

Short description

A circular walk of approx. 8 km with an altitude difference of about 300 m, gently sloping.

Description

Start at the eastern edge of the parking lot at the edge of town towards Braunlage on the small pedestrian alley about 300 m north, cross the B4, continue to Bechlerstein, turn left onto Wolfsbachstraße, about 7 km downhill to about 500 m before the northern entrance of Zorge. From there you can take the bus back (timetables at www.vsninfo.de) or hike back up to Hohegeiß along the same route.

The Wolfsbachtal is a nature reserve and about 500 m below the inn Wolfsbachmühle you have a view of the nature reserve Dicke Tannen.
