Description

The hiking trail rightly bears the name Panoramaweg Mücheln.

Let yourself be enchanted by the Geiselquelle. The hike starts in the old town of Mücheln. It follows the murmuring Geisel stream. A narrow path leads uphill into the semi-shade of the deciduous forest - you will be surrounded by tranquility and rewarded with a view of St. Ulrich Water Castle. At the idyllic Geiselquelle - shaded by old trees - you can refresh your tired spirits - namely your feet - by walking in the water. The trail then ascends again to the St. Ulrich Landscape Park. The romantic park with its partly very rare tree and shrub species, its ruins, and the view of the Baroque garden and the city of Mücheln is one of the highlights of the hike. At the viaduct, you can already catch a glimpse of the ultimate relaxation paradise - the Geiseltalsee - before heading back to the city center.
