On our bee educational trail, you will learn everything worth knowing about our honey collectors.

Description

If you want to know something about the smallest livestock on earth, then our educational trail is just right for you. The 11 signs cover the most important topics such as How does the bee colony work, about honey harvest, to What do bees do in winter.

Some questions are also worth remembering, these will be answered at the end of the educational trail at our still under construction bee experience garden. We also offer guided tours for groups, especially for school classes, this educational trail is very suitable, please contact us. The design of the boards is done with only the necessary text, so that children do not lose interest in long lectures.

Directions

The trail was created in 2015, has a length of 2.6 km and is easily passable on foot. The starting point is at the parking lot of the Waldbad in Klötze (note for your navigation system: opposite Schützenstraße 34, Klötze). It then leads through the forest along the orchid meadow, past our insect hotel towards the garden area, and then back to the parking lot.

We hope to welcome you on our educational trail and to bring our honey collectors a little closer to you and maybe inspire you. Because the goal of our association is to revive beekeeping according to our motto One beekeeper for your village.

The large parking lot at the Waldbad can be used free of charge

Sturdy footwear is recommended, as it can be a bit damp (marshy) especially at the orchid meadow.
