The stage Thale-Gatersleben offers many reasons to temporarily leave the route to explore the region. Steep granite cliffs, mixed forests, and the wild and romantic Bodetal valley invite you to various activities in the Harz region. Starting in the Bodetal valley, the bike arena offers something for cyclists of all kinds: a leisurely bike ride for families, road bike tours for athletes through the mountains, exciting mountain bike experiences for off-roaders, and a fast ride down the downhill track from the Rosstrappe into the valley for adrenaline junkies.
