From the parking lot at the end of the village of Oberröblingen towards Edersleben, a path begins on the left behind the bridge, gradually winding through orchards along the Helme River until it meets the paved road to Niederröblingen.

Both villages are located on the Helme River. The river was awarded the title River Landscape of the Year in 2012/2013. The small river originates in the Thuringian Eichsfeld and flows for about 74 kilometers through the Kyffhäuser district and the southern Harz foreland in Saxony-Anhalt. In Kalbsrieth, the Helme River flows into the Unstrut River. Oberröblingen and Niederröblingen impress with an idyllic, quaint, and rural village landscape. The way back passes by one of the numerous waste heaps from the regions former copper mining.
