Short description

This circular route takes you through the Elbe Valley, through fields and forests to the Jerichow Monastery. The monastery was founded by canons from the Monastery of Our Lady in Magdeburg as a Premonstratensian priory. Route description

Start the tour in Wust at junction 6 towards junction 10 and Federal Highway 188. Cross the federal highway and continue to Schönhausen (Elbe). In Schönhausen, leave the circular route at junction 30 to visit the Church of St. Mary and Willebrord, then head to junction 77. There, in close proximity, you will find the church and the baroque park. Follow the cycle path signage along junctions 30, 65, 13, 47, and 14 to Jerichow. Along a cycle path and a lightly trafficked country road, you will pass through Klein Mangelsdorf, Melkow, and back to Wust to the starting point.
