Altmark circular route: From the Hanseatic city of Gardelegen to Klötze

With this stage of the Altmark circular course, we head to Switzerland, the Altmark Switzerland. But dont worry, this short stage only involves 140 meters in altitude and connects the Hanseatic city of Gardelegen with Klötze.

Description

From Gardelegen, we accompany the federal road for a long way, but then we ride on small paths and roads through the valleys of the Zichtau Mountains, also known as the Altmark Switzerland.

The friendly and hilly landscape offers a varied tour.

The theme of water accompanies us, two outdoor pools and two water treading places ensure refreshment. In Klötze, visiting the animal park is an option, but the town of Klötze also entices us with its small-town flair.

Further Information

From Gardelegen on the Altmark circular course, first around the city in an arc and later on the cycle path along the federal road.

In Wiebke, turn west towards Zichtau.

In Zichtau, we drive past the bath until we reach the rest area at the water treading place.

Now we continue through the Schwiesauer Heath to the town of Klötze.
