Description

The bike tour leads from Zerbst/Anhalt in a northern arc through the Vorfläming to Garitz. From here, you can continue on the Fläming Cycle Path to Dessau or Wiesenburg or start the return journey to Zerbst/Anhalt.

Directions

We start at the market. We pass by the church ruins of St. Nicolai, towards Schleibank. There we turn left onto Salzstraße until we reach Wegeberg. Continuing straight ahead, we reach the district of Ankuhn. Following the country road, along woods and fields, we pass through Strinum to Zernitz. We follow the signs of the Vorfläming cycle route. This leads us to the left through the village following the main street. Shortly before Kuhberge, there is a bridge. Before that, we turn left and continue to follow the signs of the Vorfläming cycle route until we reach Lindau, where we leave the main street at the gas station and see the signs to Burg Lindau. Here we turn left into Markt street and ride to the castle. After exploring the manageable castle grounds, the tour continues along the main street. We turn left at the intersection and keep the gas station behind us. We follow the street to the fork towards Quast. Here we turn right and follow the path into the village. If youre lucky, you can observe storks here. We continue to the right onto the concrete agricultural path, always straight ahead. We cross another asphalted road and continue straight ahead. At the next intersection, we turn right and then half right into Deetz. We go down the street to the main road, where we turn right. Following the street, we reach a major intersection where we turn left and pass by the Europa Youth Farm into Kurzes Ende street. Following the street through the residential area, we reach the main road to Dobritz, where we turn left and drive to the village. We follow the street and carefully merge onto the main road. We stay on the street until we discover a left turn to Mühro at the edge of the village. Here we turn and follow the street to Garitz. At the intersection, we turn right and after a short distance, we see the Village Church Museum on the left.

Provisions for the way and sufficient drinks. In Lindau, there is an ice cream parlor and a supermarket. Opening hours should be inquired in advance from the innkeeper.
