Description

This circular tour of the Altmark Reformation Cycle Path connects over 10 churches of the unified municipality of Hanseatic City Gardelegen. The approximately 35-kilometer long route leads cyclists away from the main roads from one church to the next, each station is marked by a stele with one of Martin Luthers 95 Theses and a rose as a symbol of the Reformation. The circular route is being expanded step by step, with the goal of having 95 stations, one for each thesis.

Many churches with their own charm are represented on this tour, but some particularly well-known ones include:

The Hanseatic City of Gardelegen is located on the federal highways B 71 and B188, which intersect directly at the city center. The rail connection in local passenger transport is provided by the train stations in the districts of Gardelegen, Jävenitz, Solpke, Mieste, and Miesterhorst.
