Glaubensweg 05 Waldstetter Feldkreuzweg

A challenging hike that includes two steep climbs with wonderful views, as well as relaxing walks along tranquil streams and orchards.

An unusually high number of wayside and field crosses are passed along the entire circular route. The starting point of the tour is the Romanesque church of St. Laurentius, which was mentioned in documents as early as 1275 as an independent parish. The route also leads past the idyllic St. Patrizius chapel in Weilerstoffel. In honour of the patron saints of their places of worship, the faithful in Waldstetten celebrate a big festival on 10 August and in Weilerstoffel on 17 March. The hiking trail passes through a beautifully wooded nature reserve near the village of Waldstetten.Due to the differences in altitude, the hiking trail is not suitable for baby carriages and people with walking difficulties.At the end of Waldstetten, the hiking trail leads past an adventure playground.
