BW1 Wanderweg zur Waldschänke Bad Wimpfen

Walking trail through shady forests and across fields to the "Tilly Monument" and the Waldschänke.

Starting from Bad Wimpfen train station, the asphalt path leads along the Alte Heilbronner Straße past the Hohenhöfe farms. In the direction of Obereisesheim, shady spots and idyllic benches offer opportunities for short breaks, especially in summer.

Near the village is the so-called "Tilly Monument", which commemorates the important battle of Bad Wimpfen in the Thirty Years' War.

At the edge of the Dornet forest, the Waldschenke invites you to take a leisurely break with a wonderful view over the countryside. The tavern is open from May to October, depending on the weather.The trail leads back through the forest and across fields to the starting point in Bad Wimpfen.
