Description by the author

A panoramic trail through the vineyards above the Neckar to the Roman estate and the Krappenfelsen viewpoint.

Start and finish is at the Rathausburg in the historic town of Lauffen with a few restaurants for a stop after the tour.

After a short section through the town, the route heads out into the vineyards. Above the Neckar, the trail leads in a sunny panoramic position towards the "Römischer Gutshof". The function and significance of this former villa rustica are explained on information boards.Shortly after the estate, you can take a shortcut.

The complete path leads up to the wild and romantic Krappenfelsen with a magnificent panoramic view.
