Description by the author

Varied circular hiking trail in and around the organ town of Waldkirch. This leisurely tour is particularly suitable for families with children. Especially for children, there are many small and large highlights: Boating on the Stadtrainsee lake, the Black Forest Zoo, We start this pleasant family tour at the Marienbrunnen fountain on the market square in Waldkirch. We follow the ZweiTälerSteig trail and soon reach the baroque church of St. Margarethen, which is well worth seeing. We keep right at the Felsenkeller, pass the Black Forest Zoo, keep left at the Sinnesweg station and follow the signs to the Baumkronenweg. The stamp station is also located there. We continue on the ZweiTälerSteig trail, but leave it to the right at "Am Fohrenbühl" and walk down into the Wegelbach valley.

We stay on the little road until we reach the Petershöfe farms, then turn right and reach the Stadtrainsee lake.

We soon reach the upper end of the market square again via Goethestraße and Freie Straße and are back at the starting point of the tour in just a few steps.
