Erftal-Mühlen-Radweg

The Erftal-Mühlen cycle path runs from Erfeld in the Bauland region through the picturesque, natural Erftal valley to Bürgstadt am Main.

This cycle tour is around 31 km long. If you start the tour in Erfeld, you will cycle steadily downhill to Bürgstadt.

From the starting point of the cycle path, you pass numerous mills, such as the Beichertsmühle in the upper Erftal the Beichertsmühle, near Bretzingen the Obere, Mittel and Untere mill. Double mill, Volksmühle and Gärtnersmühle near Hardheim.

In the lower Erftal valley you cycle past further mills, e.g. the Wohlfahrtsmühle excursion restaurant Wohlfahrtsmühle until you finally reach Bürgstadt, the destination of the cycle tour.

In the wine village of Bürgstadt, it's worth stopping off at one of the numerous wine taverns.</p
