Formerly the monastic farmstead of the Herrrenalb monastery, it is considered the best-preserved monastic farmstead in southern Germany
The historic Amthof complex is still a cultural monument of particular importance in its entirety today, the former monastic farmstead is considered the best-preserved complex in southern Germany.
With the installation of the town hall in the former tithe barn of the monastery and the renovation of the rectory and other buildings, the existing buildings were saved from decay.
