Martinsweg Horrheim

Martinsweg through the Horrheim vineyards (Klosterberg) and the town center

Permanently marked by red-brown signs with the inscription "Via Sancti Martini".

Approx. 11km round trip (marked options for shortcuts [ ]).

Mostly suitable for baby carriages (one bad section with the option to bypass it).

The Martinsweg is marked throughout with the red-brown "Via Sancti Martini" sign. It can be walked in both directions and is also marked in both directions. The route is described here in a clockwise direction.The entire route is around 11 km long. It can be shortened at three points marked [ ] in the route description: On the ascent through the vineyards (at KM 1.2), from the Hohenhaslacher Straße parking lot at KM 7.6 and from the Wiesentalstraße/Herdweg junction at KM 8.8. It can of course also be walked in several stages.

The trail is largely suitable for baby carriages. Only the small section between the monastery and the turning plate on the Klosterberg could cause problems, especially in damp conditions and due to the narrow path (marked at KM 4.9).
