Jakobsweg vom Kloster Habsthal nach Pfullendorf

This section of the Way of St. James was newly signposted in 2013 - as a link to the well-known stages of the Hegau and Linzgau Way of St. James to Lake Constance. If you wish, you can start the stage in Bad Saulgau at the town church and make the pilgrimage to Habsthal via Friedberg and Rosna.

This stage of the pilgrimage route begins in the idyllic Ostrachtal valley at the almost hidden Habsthal monastery. This monastery complex, built according to the St. Gallen plan, has retained its original architecture. The route takes you across meadows and fields, through extensive woodland and nature reserves, past small villages to Pfullendorf and the Maria Schray pilgrimage church. From here, you can take a stroll through the historic half-timbered town, which should include a visit to the parish church of St. James.
