In the farthest corner of the Elsach Valley lies one of the most famous caves in the Swabian Alb, the Falkenstein Cave. Although it can only be visited by experienced, well-equipped cave explorers, or - as the experts say - driven through, a hike along the Elsach to the wild and romantic head of the valley with the impressive portal of the Falkenstein Cave is still worthwhile. The way back is identical to the way there.
