Stadtrundgang mit Aussicht

This short circular walk offers a good overview of the city from Lörrach's highest point - the Tüllinger Berg. Along the meadow back through Stetten - Lörrach's oldest district - Lörrach shows its best side away from the usual routes with the Fridolinskirche church and the beautiful Rosenfelspark.

The tour starts at the tourist information office and leads across the market square through the high-rise passage, down Teichstraße to the bridge over the meadow. Cross this and turn left into Steghalden, then keep left into Langackerweg. The route goes uphill via Bitzeweg and straight on along Dorfstraße into the center of Untertüllingen. At the village fountain, turn right onto Brunnenweg and continue to Adolf-Glattacker-Weg, which leads to Obertüllingen. If you like, take a detour towards Lindenplatz and enjoy the view to the west over Weil am Rhein to the French Vosges mountains or the numerous colorful kites at the weekends in autumn.

The path then leads back down to the church of St. Ottilien, which is well worth seeing, and continues downhill through the vineyards. Here you walk a little way along the Lörrach Wine Trail and can find out about winegrowing on the Tüllinger Berg. Still downhill, you reach the bridge over the meadow via Ob der Bruck, walk a short distance along Wiesentalstraße until you reach Weiler Straße on the right. The path briefly leads through a rather urban commercial area, but you soon reach the oldest part of Lörrach - Stetten - with its beautiful Rathausgasse. The Fridolinskirche church is also worth a visit. Continue along Stettengasse, past the indoor swimming pool and along Rosenfelspark with its impressive old trees.

Turn left along Schützenstraße, cross the railroad line through an underpass and return to the city center via Kirchstraße and the tourist information office around the corner.
