A cycle tour for cyclists who spare no physical effort to reward themselves with magnificent views and nature experiences along the way.

On the edge of the Löwenstein Mountains in the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park, you can experience the view of an eagle. On nice days, you will also have a view of Heilbronn. Be inspired by the diversity of the nature park, which reveals itself to you as mysterious and shrouded in legend. Meadows, forests, vineyards and extensive plateaus, long valleys, wooded slopes and fields characterize the landscape.

You start your tour in Beilstein below Hohenbeilstein Castle, which was built in the 11th century. From the castle parking lot, take the Weinsteige road to the start of the tour. The old Hohenbeilstein Castle estate is now home to a castle restaurant, a falconry and a castle winery. The castle courtyard with its beer garden is also the perfect place to stop for refreshments at the end of this cycle tour. The higher you cycle, the further you can see. The route leads through the tranquil Schmidbach valley up towards Stocksberg, the highest elevation in the Löwenstein mountains. If you don't mind a few extra meters in altitude, take a detour up to Stettenfels Castle in Untergruppenbach and enjoy the view over the Löwenstein mountains. In the summer months, the beer garden in the "Burgpark" is a wonderful rest stop.
