SB1 Genießertour

This cycle tour "always along the river" is only interrupted by three short valley changes. Along the Schozach, the cycle path runs along the route of the former Bottwartal railroad. Vines accompany the tour in the Deinenbach valley.

From the start of the tour below Stettenfels Castle, the leisurely cycle tour leads through a varied wine landscape. From Flein, the first "valley change" awaits. Via the "Haigern" you cycle from the Deinenbach valley into the Schozach valley. We recommend enjoying the view over the Neckar valley to the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park from the country inn of the same name with its beer garden.

From Talheim, the cycle path follows the old route of the Bottwartalbahn. Until 1969, this ran from Canstatt via the Bottwartal valley to Heilbronn with stations in Beilstein, Ilsfeld, Schozach, Talheim and Sontheim. This old railroad section between Beilstein and Heilbronn with its almost unspoiled nature has not only been a cycling and hiking trail since 1975, but also a popular excursion destination.
