Schleife Zabergäu | Württembergischer Weinwanderweg

The Württemberg Wine Trail dedicates an extra loop to HeilbronnerLand, the center of Württemberg viticulture.

The Württemberg Wine Trail splits between Talheim and Wunnenstein. The main route stays close to the Neckar. A large loop leads into the Zabergäu and touches the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park with well-known wine villages such as Haberschlacht and Brackenheim.

From Talheim, the main route is reached again at Wunnenstein via Vaihingen, Bietigheim and Besigheim.

The Swabian Alb Association itself recommends that the secondary route from Heilbronn into the Zabergäu and the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park is considered ideal for the hiking trail.

The route leads up and down through Germany's largest red wine landscape, the Zabergäu, as well as through the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park and the Enz Valley. At the foot of the impressive rock gardens near Besigheim, the Württemberg Wine Trail reaches the Neckar Valley again and rejoins the main route at Wunnenstein near Beilstein.
