Through Germany's largest red wine landscape and the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park to the sunny vineyards on the Zaber and Enz rivers.
In the Zabergäu, around the town of Brackenheim, the excellent Lemberger wines that even our first Federal President Theodor Heuss enjoyed thrive. Here in the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park, the sun-drenched southern slopes are mostly reserved for wine. In the valleys and on the northern slopes, there is a gently undulating landscape of forests and meadows.
Crossing the Stromberg bridge - one of only two notable climbs on this cycle route - and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Maulbronn Monastery, the pleasure-oriented cyclist reaches the Enz Valley on the Wine Cycle Route. And in Besigheim, where the Enz flows into the Neckar, they rejoin the main route of the Württemberg Wine Cycle Path.
