Württemberger Weinstraße

The Württemberg Wine Route is a vacation route that leads through all of Württemberg's wine regions. Between the Tauber Valley and the Swabian Alb, you can get to know the land, the wine and the people. Grapes mark the route

Starting in the north in Oberstetten in the Tauber Valley, the tourist road runs along the banks of the rivers Tauber, Kocher, Jagst, Neckar, Sulm, Lein, Zaber, Schozach, Bottwar and Rems to the outlet city of Metzingen at the foot of the Swabian Alb in the south. It meanders through a lovely hilly landscape characterized by rivers, vineyards and forests.

Stuttgart: the only state capital with vineyards right into the vibrant city center

Stuttgart lives up to its reputation as the "city between forest and vines": thanks to its unique location in the valley basin, the vineyards extend all the way down to the vibrant city center near Stuttgart's main train station. It's no coincidence that the Württemberg Wine Route runs right through the city center!
