The route leads to a densely wooded ridge in the Pfaffenwald, Hochbühl, Winterhalde area at an altitude of up to 717 m above sea level, the highest point of the hike.
The ridge forms a topographical "caesura" between the Nesselwangen and Billafingen valleysWe leave the village of Hödingen (534 m) in the direction of Nesselwangen. Passing the Haslen forest area, we reach the Heinz-Sielmann pond and on to the impressive Drumlin Biblis, a distinctive ridge, carved and shaped by glaciers and meltwater. We leave the village of Nesselwangen (585m) via Wassergasse. The path now leads uphill, continuing through the Pfaffenwald forest (633m) up to the wooded heights of the Hochbühl (717m). Steadily downhill, we return to the starting point via the Hohenlinden natural monument
