Den Überlinger See mit Rad und Schiff entdecken

This tour is the perfect combination of being active and taking a break on the water

From Überlingen, you first take the passenger boat to the opposite side of the lake to Wallhausen. From there, the cycle path leads eastwards to the Constance suburbs of Dingelsdorf and Litzelstetten. The island of Mainau is the first highlight along the way. The route then leads along the water sports grounds of the University of Constance to Egg and along shady paths under high rock faces to Allmanndorf.
If you want to shorten the tour, you can use the ferry connection to Meersburg from the local ferry port of Constance/Staad, otherwise the cycle path leads a little above the lakeshore into the old town of Constance.
After a stroll through the historic alleyways, the route leads to the port of Constance, from where the "White Fleet" of the Lake Constance shipping company ferries cyclists to Meersburg.

On the way back along the northern shore of the lake, past the Unteruhldingen pile dwellings and the Birnau monastery church, you can take a refreshing dip in Lake Constance.
