From Aichschieß to the "Iron Hand" historical monument
Starting from the "Waldschenke" hiking parking lot in Aichschieß (or alternatively from the "Horben" hiking parking lot), this circular trail leads to the historical monument of the "Iron Hand", a cast-iron oath hand that was first erected around 1600 and first mentioned in a document in 1651. It stands for Esslingen's jurisdiction in the days of the imperial city and was also placed on the judges' desks as a sign of jurisdiction in earlier centuries.</p
