To the picturesque Landeck castle ruins through forest and vineyards

The circular tour starts in the heart of Emmendingen at the train station and leads us to the picturesque Landeck castle ruins, which date back to the 13th century. From the first viewing plateau on Wöpplinsberg, you can see the vast panorama of Breisgau with views of the Black Forest, the Kaiserstuhl, the Vosges mountains and, on a clear day, even the Swiss Jura. Through beautiful forest paths with gentle ups and downs, you reach the highlight of the tour - the Landeck castle ruins, which can be easily explored via narrow steps. The wide panoramic view and the beautiful surroundings invite you to take a break. The descent takes you over the ridge down through the Mundingen vineyards with a magnificent view of almost the entire district of Emmendingen from the Rhine plain near Sasbach to the Kandel.
