The signposted tour, which runs along the Hohenlohe plain, takes cyclists to five typical regional towns and villages with the word "Bach" in their names.
Romantic streams and brooks are visited and accompany the cyclists through the relaxing landscape near Pfedelbach and Öhringen.
The almost 27 km long cycle tour begins in the wine-growing community of Pfedelbach, the northern foothills of the Mainhardt Forest and the beginning of the Waldenburg Mountains.
The former moated castle in the center of the village with its magnificent castle chapel is well worth a visit. The history of winegrowing in Hohenlohe is vividly presented in a rustic atmosphere in the wine museum, which is just a few minutes' cycle ride away. The so-called "Fürstenfass" (princely barrel) of the Hohenlohe winery, the third largest wine barrel in Germany with a capacity of almost 65,000 liters, is particularly impressive.
Accompanied by vineyards, the route continues via Oberohrn, Michelbach am Wald to Untersöllbach. The tour follows the districts of Öhringen to Eckartsweiler, Untermaßholderbach, via Unterohrn to Windischenbach and back to Pfedelbach to the starting point.
